SPM is over !

SPM is finally over.....although I felt sad leaving to school.

I kept remind my self ''what done is done'' . No point regretting whatever you did or may did in the past and look forward.

Went home tired and slept immediately , had a weird dream...

looking though a photo album and suddenly felt sad while looking the pictures, then I woke up.

Then at night time, after watching Inception and Shutter Island ( AGIAN ! )

I dreamt about waiting for someone and that person drove a car pass me, which i felt is not logically possible and woke up.

Need to get some nice sleep in this few days.......keep dreaming only =='

Narnia, The Overpriced Voyage.

Went to Sunway to watch Narnia with Deborah and her sis, Roland , Amanda and KX.

Ticket Price was RM14......Expensive !!!

Then We went to some Taiwan Restaurant...........Burned RM23 Thr =(.

I tried to search for Xbox 360 Controller there but the prices was doubled there 0.0 !

Anways enjoyed myself there and thx Deborah for the Christmas Gift <3 !

Yesterday, watched

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS

with XINQI , NABIHAN , HARRIET , MUN YEE and MUN YEE.

Only watched till the Prisoner of Aztec Bam ( Forgot name XD ). So kinda missed alot. Saddest part is when Dobby died =(.

1st time hang out with them, pretty exciting XD !

Later had Thai food for something between lunch at the Thai Restaurant at the upper floor while the Mun Yee went shopping. Too bad XinQi went back early =(.

Next, went to Popular to loot some item and managed to loot DEJA VU VCD for RM 5 ( Quality SUCKS but viewable =) )

Hope to get to hang out with them agian XD !

Kuala Lumpur Cycling Trip

Well, yesterday I cycled to KL ( Kinda unplanned as I brought nothing with me, not even water )

It's started when I cycled to Sunway to watch movie with Brandon and Jaryl, end up not watching because the movie is not my taste ( Step Up 3D =X ). Then I met, Man Yi, Cheok, Darren, Jeremy,J.Wern and Wei Sheng which apparently watching the same movie ....while they are waiting for their movie to start, I have lunch with them =D.

After that, I decided to cycle to KL since I have ample time ( No one at home XD ). I took the Pantai Baru Highway before linking to Old Klang Road to reach to KL, took me 45 minutes to reach KL Then a sudden heavy rain cause me to seek shelter for almost 1 hour near the Pudu Jail =(. Here's some picture I took when I was seeking shelter.

After the rain had stopped, I resume my journey to KLCC which took about 10 minutes from where I took shelter. However, I hit a fallen branch and fell down ==' which I think is the main cause for the latter problem.

Then, It's time to cycle home.....halfway through my bike's shifter gear and rim got stuck and my bike is unable to move...I pushed to the Petaling KTM Station and call my parent to tow me back. What a way to end a trip !!

Melaka Trip -- Wednesday

Yesterday's trip was fun but tiring. Went to Melaka with Brandon , Kah.C , Wai Hong, Wei Loan, Jiek Hui, Chin Hau, Mandy, Xin Qi, Tracy, Sandy, Ying Yun + 77 Other people.

The trip covered places like muziums, kraft center, boat ride and Jonker Street.

Luckily traffic jam was not an issue on that day as we are in schedule ( mostly )

Sunday -- A Nightmare at Sunway Piramid

Went for a movie with Darren , Wei Sheng and his friend , and Cheok Yew Thein after Perkongsian Pintar at Sunway Piramid yesterday......The movie was A Nightmare on Elm Street. It was an adrenaline rush movie, plenty of scene which will make you jump out of the seat ( I jumped once ... lol ). The plot was pretty straight forward, so it won't be hard to understand the story. My Summary of this story... A Pedobear from the past that kills you in your dreams........=X.

My rating for this movie.

7/10 Scatterguns....

The storyline doesn't have the '' wow '' factor in my opinion but the scare scene make up for it. I would like to remind you that the scare scenes are Doom 3 type ( Faham, faham aje la )

Saturday - 1st Day Of Holiday, KL Trip

Phew, It been a busy Saturday and Sunday........Let's go back to Saturday ! XD

It all started at the Subang Jaya KTM Station. The train did arrived 2 minutes late ( as usually ) and I almost enter the women's only coach =X .

Then, I when I reach KL Sentral......I took a wrong turn instead of heading to Platform 5. This cost me RM 1 to buy the ticket agian. You should see the crowd in the train, packed like sardins !

I finally reached my 1st destination which is Mid Valley Megamall to check out the Electronic and PC Fair ( And to check out any potential nice MP3/MP4 player ). To my surpise, they only sell China brand players ( I hate those, rosak damm fast ). I managed to take and try some of nice DSLRS =D !

After that, I went to The Gardens to have some Korean theme food + iced lemon tree. (RM 20) before heading back to KL Sentral to take a monorail to Lowyat Plaza. Unfortunately I missed a station....and had to rebuy the ticket as mine was rejected on my way out =(.

Luckily Monorails are typically fast and It only took me like 30 minutes from Mid Valley to Imbi Plaza Monorail station ( Blame 15 minutes on slow KTM ). After a few trip to some shops, I've decided to get the Creative Zen X-Fi Style 8GB for RM339 because of it's looks and sound quality XD !. Then I stopped by at a restaurant to have a drink due to my water supply is out and it cost RM5 for a cup of Iced Mango Juice =X !!!!

Time to continue my journey, now to KLCC ! Agian, need to go back to KL Sentral....It does raised a question why we can't directly go to KLCC from popular places like Bukit Bintang and Mid Valley without heading back to KL Sentral. The journey took about the same time as the Lowyat trip but this time I exit at the correct station =D !

First, I had my dinner at the upper food court in KLCC.......Kinda normal food.....Ipoh Noodle Soup + Iced Lemon Tea ( RM 12 )

When I finished my dinner , I took a scenic tour around KLCC and took some intersting pictures.

After that, took back the same route back to Subang KTM and took Rapid KL T523 home XD !

Today, I've decided to clean my my room ( It was in a mess ) as I did not clean it up for 2 weeks. There were clothes everywhere and books are scattered around, not the mention some of my remains of my food....( Yes, I eat in my room ). I also did an interesting cabling project before I clean up my room. XD

Cool Ikea Application.

I've just found out a cool application to mess around with. It's the Ikea Home Planner FY10 - 2.0.3. It enable you to play sims like house building without the sims. They have Bedroom, Kitchen and Office planner at the moment. I've created a plan which resembles my room. ( Although it's a mirror image, everything is opposite where it supposed to be XD )

Just got back from Summit. I was pretty annoyed as I had to walk there as my bike was punctured and the rear tire was aligned in a wrong way. But anyways, had my dinner at Mandy's cafe with Penang Laksa and Iced Lemon Tea ( Total Cost RM11.80) . Not the best Laksa i've tasted but still good. 8/10 Cicak tails for me ! XD.

Then I went to Popular to get more PINS to fix my class photo gallery that refuse to stay stationary for a long time....and also this month's edition of PC GAMER Malaysia. ( Pins = RM2.20 , Magazine = RM 8 )

So, the total amount of money I spent today is RM 21.00....=*[****

Anyways I took some night shots on my way back. ( Surprisingly my camera is even capable of NS's )

Day 4- Exams Sejarah.

Today's Exam is easy then expected, maybe the questions was spotted before that. However it's still a challenge to answer the questions especially the essay part. Luckily Sejarah was on Friday so I can rest and prepare for next week during the weekends. XD

I can answer most of the questions but some questions from the Islamic chapters is giving me problems =(.

Paper 2 :

Same like paper 1 , but the Prophet Mohammad part in the Essay section giving me issues too =(

Today's work is quite boring as the people was less because of the rain outside. Speaking of the rain, the condition here is very COLD and FREEZING as there is 3 air conditioners blowing at full speed towards me plus the heavy rain outside.

Logitech Momo -- A Value Wheel.

I've just bought a Logitech Momo recently to ditch my Xbox 360 Controller for use in Racing game. I've intented to buy the more High-End Logitech G25 but gave up the plan due to the need for a new procceser.

However, the Momo is still a decent wheel for beginners in Racing Wheels. The force feedback of this wheel is average when compared to the G25. Don't get me wrong, the MOMO force feedback is still good for it's price level (G25 cost around a whopping RM880 ).

The nice thing about the shifters is that it can be placed on the left or the right sides of the wheel. It is just simply unscrewing the nuts underneath the shifters and transfer it to the other side.

The pedals have some realism on it, not so great but at least the brake pedals is harder to press then the gas pedals.

I've tried the wheel with GRID and Dirt 2 and they give me a better feeling compared to a controller as I can feel every bump and crash with my hands. For example, when going off road in GRID, the wheel rumbles non-stop and the wheel is harder to control.

Overall, Logitech MOMO is a great for value wheel for just RM250. I've posted more pictures of the wheel below.

Another Day At Work (Yesterday).

Well, Yesterday's work was kinda exciting because Battle of the Bands event was held not far from where I was working. I managed to listen to a band perform a song during my break ( Forgot Band Name =( , Was the 1st to perform). It was rocking as the sound and crowd was exciting and loud.

Don't forget about the cool Christmas Tree made out of bear bottles =D

9th Day Working at Sunway.

It's wasen't too tiring today as there is less people today. You should see the number of people on weekends, non-stop horde of peoples buying ticktes.

As for today, I'm quite confused at first on using the credit card machine as it's just being implemented today but I've managed to understand the machine after given some explainations.

As you see, I managed to install Steam in my workstation.............just hope it's last that way.

For today, I have some puffs for dinner at Jusco Sunway Piramid. Well, it is priced reasonably at RM1 each for the Sardin and Ikan Bilis puffs and RM2 for the Chicken puff. For today I have one of each of the puffs above with a total cost of RM4.

Enabling a disabled Task Manager.

If you ever wonder why when you use most cyber cafes or your own PC and when you try to open Task Manager, the following error may occur:

Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator

This is usually cause by the admin or maybe a virus/infection has blocked the usage of Task Manager in your system by enabling the DisableTaskMgr policy via the registry.
This can be easily solve by clicking Start, Run and type this command exactly as given below:

REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v
DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

This is very usefull if a virus had disabled your Task Manager or to play for free at Cyber Cafes
by disabling their timer ( Depends on the system software; may not work on all systems.).

However this dosen't remove the virus that causes the problem. A full system scan is still required to remove whatever is causing it.

Well, I finally found a time to update my blog. Currently I'm working as a ticket seller at the Dolphins and Sealion show beside Sunway Piramid.

Well, if anyone want to buy tickets for the event here is the pricing.

Regular Adult : RM52
Regular Child : RM32
MyKad Adult : RM42
MyKad Child : RM26
Shoppers Adult : Rm37
Shoppers Child : RM23
Family : RM30

It's a bit confusing I know, let me explain the pricing :

1) Regulars pricing is for individuals which dosen't have MyKad or Malaysian Identity Card.

2) MyKad pricing is for individuals which have MyKad or Malaysian Identity Card.

3) Shoppers pricing is for individuals which have a Shopper's Coupon Card. You can obtain the
card by spending more then RM250 at Sunway Piramid except Giant, Parkson and Jusco

4) Family pricing is a package which consist of 2 Adults and 2 Child. So the total of the package is
RM120.

The time of the show is as follows :

1) Weekdays : 3:30 PM , 6:30PM , 9:30 PM
2) Weekends and Public Holiday : 11:30AM, 3:30PM, 6:30PM, 9:30PM

Each show last an average of 45 minutes. If you want to take a photo upclose with the dolphins, it will cost RM10. However, you can bring you own camera to the show but you are not allowed to be upclose with the dolphins and use flash from your camera.

There is a boat ride with the dolphins for the kids for RM20 including a photo taken during the ride.

Well, My Camera broke down a few week ago and causes me unable to take pictures anymore.Currently using my HP Camera while finding a replacement for it.

Many had happened since I last blogged here. Let's start with early October. Me and Balraj had attended ESPGL and won some nifty stuffs. =D.

After that, come the exams. I got 3 A , 2 B , 2C and 3 Fail. Nice combination !

After The Exams, I sold my current Graphic Card and Monitor to get a new one which is the awesome Ati 5850 and a Samsung 24inch Moniter.

I will post the picture of my newly upgraded rig soon.

Last Friday , Window 7 has arrived in my doorstep along with my Window 7 T-Shirt which I won from the IE8 Challange contest. It arrived in seperate packages where the Window 7 CD is in a harder envolope compared to the T-Shirt. ( Who cares about T-Shirt Safety nowadays ! =( ). Well, we'll see how Window 7 compared to the not so successful Window Vista.

Genting Trip 2009

I've just came back home from my trip from Genting with my friends. I'll keep this short. We started with our journey with a bus from KL Sentral to the cable car station on the lower part of Genting Highlands. Then we proceed to lined up for the cable car which lasted appox 45 min before we were able to enter the cable car due to the high traffic of people who wanted to take a ride too. When we were in the gondola, we got the chance to watch the beautiful scenery of the surrounding enviroment. The ride lasted around 15 minutes with a distance of around 3 kilometers.

Then we proceeded to our hotel to check in and arranged our stuffs there. Then we had dinner in Old Town. After that we went around Genting and have some fun before returning to our room to take a bath and get ready for dinner.

We had dinner at Happy Seafood Valley restaurant. We ordered ''Pak So Kong'' , some boneless chicken, tofu and bean sprout as our dinner. As expected, the bill cost a bomb which is RM140 and we are still left hungry. Later, we went outside to the park to enjoy the night scenery and the cold win. To satisfied our hunger, we enjoyed our hot cup noodles when we returned to our room before went to sleep.

On the 2nd day, we woke up at around 8 in the morning and took a bath before having our breakfast. After we enjoyed our morning meal, we checked out of our hotel before went into ''Snow World''

When we about to buy the bus tickets home, we were told that no bus leaving to KL Sentral toady. Fortunately few men offered to drive us to KL Sentral with a reasonable price. Since we have no other options, we took the offer. When we reached KL Sentral, We took the KTM train back to Subang.

ESPGL Promode Tour at Blitzone Damansara

On The 18th to the 20th of September 2009 , ESPGL had organized a Promode Tour at Blitzone Damansara .

The main goal of this event is to expose new player about the competitive scene of COD4 as ''pros'' player were banned from this event.

The prizes for all three days were Razer Deathadder, Razer Salmosa and Razer Sphex. And all participant will get a free Razer Lanyard at the end of each events.

However, we did not win any of those prizes as we are still new to this game and Congratulations to the winners of the event. =)

Lastly, we gained valueble experiences on how competitive COD4 works and hopefully will join future COD4 tourney and events.

Yesterday,me , Ming, HwaN, Pey Yan and Balraj decided to have a outing on Merdeka Eve. First we went to Asia Cafe to play a few games of pool. Surprisingly I managed to hit the balls on target this time lol. Then we head to FTZ.Asia to have a game of OMG Dota. This is where Ming went back. After that, we hang out at the Huge TV until around 12:30 AM. Finally we went back with a 7-seater Saga.

Yesterday, a reunion party for the ex-students of Sekolah Kebangsaan Seafield 3 was organized by Ho Man Yi, Audrey, Nadiah, Mariam, and Jeremy. The party was a greet success as the attendance was great. This party give us an opportunity to meet up with old friends which took their separate path after the UPSR exam. Disburn's Timez Square Outing with one guest.

Yesteday, Me, Ming Way, Balraj, Jason and Pey Yan attend a event of what we call DTS (Disburn Timez Square). We actually planned to go to Genting Highlands but the plan somehow backfired.

We traveled by using bus and monorail to Berjaya Time Square which is located in Kuala Lumpur. We first take an afternoon lunch at McDonald before entering the Cosmos Theme Park. The tickets originally cost RM43 but we had our MyKad in our hands so we only need to pay RM37. We enjoyed the rides there which is DNA-Mixer and Dizzy Izzy.However since the rides require short hairs, we helped Pey Yan to find a rubber-band to tie her hair. Then we try asking a guy then suddenly he misheard that we want to touch HIS hair but actually we asking for a rubber-band to tie HER hair. Fortunately we found a lady that would give us the rubber-band and Ming Wey tried to return the band to her after we done with our ride but she refused it. LOL !

Then we proceed to seven-eleven to get some drink while Balraj enjoy his RM5 coke he brought from the lady as some payment for her kindness . After that, we proceed to SS14 to have some Bakuteh by Bus. However our plan was kinda delayed by the traffic jam and bad weather. Luck was in our side when we reach the restaurant before the rain. We ordered three and a half bakuteh set and some drinks. The total cost of our meal was RM44 which is very cheap as it make 5 of use full.

After our enjoyable meal, we went to Asia Cafe to play some pool before we went back. I've uploaded some picture from the event. Enjoy !

SMK USJ 8 -- Form 4 Khidmat Masyarakat Pendidikan Sivik .

Last Saturday, The entire Form 4 students of SMK USJ 8 attented a community service to brighten up their school with new plants. The attendance was very good as there is about 40 people who came. Before the activity begins, the students were briefed by Encik Noraizam about safety and the division of tasks to each class, when the briefing was finished the students begin their task immediately.

The entire activity spans from 7:30 am to 9:40 am. After that, the students were given free breakfast which consists of ''Mi Goreng'' and ''Air Sirap''. Conclusively, the activity was a huge success as all the plants were planted in the given time. I hope to see more of this activity to be held. I've posted some pictures and video of the activity. Disburn's time trial revival !

NOOOOOO ! Give me the pills !

Getting hit by this is gonna hurt !

This morning Razer Cicak, Ming and Roxus played some Time Trial in Death Toll since we'd never played a Time Trial game for a very long time ( ACG Verus Training ). However, there is some epic stuff going on in the run, first, Roxus minigunned Razer Cicak in an infected free zone ( He didn't noticed that Razer Cicak jumped down lol ). Secondly, When Ming carried up the incaped Cicak. He accidently consume the pill that he intended to give to Cicak ( Ming was around 80 HP at that time).Lastly, Cicak have the most Friendly Fire as Usual.

However, we did finished the run without any restart and achieved a time of 25 minutes, just out of our record of 23 minutes

There were a lot of food available but however the lack of plates, cups , forks and spoon kinda become an issue for a while. Disburn had won 3rd Place in the Left 4 Dead Versus Tournament hosted by e-Club and sponsored by Steelseries. We attended it at FTZ Asia.net Cafe. Pictures to be uploaded soon. We won ::YE:: in the 1st match moves us to the quater finals. However losing to WM [LapSap] by a small margin pushed us back from the final and we ended up in the 3rd - 4th playoffs. We managed to beat team Infracted ( I think it spelled like that....sorry if misspelled) and took the 3rd place.

Kota Marudu: Five secondary students were picked up by police in connection with the rape and molest of a 13-year-old girl from the same school here in May.

The girl's father, a local businessman, lodged a report after watching a video clip which had sexually-explicit scenes of his daughter and the students, on a mobile phone belonging to one of the boys.

A teacher discovered the video clip after confiscating the phone from the boy and decided to inform the father about the matter.

District Police Chief, DSP Mohd Isa Yusof said the girl claimed she was raped by one of the boys and molested at a village house here on May 20.

"The clip showed the students kissing, hugging and groping the girl's breasts. One of the boys was recording the whole thing É we are still investigating," he said, adding the father lodged the police report last Thursday.

Following the report, police picked up one Form Four student, the rape suspect, and his four Form Five schoolmates, all aged between 17 and 19, the same day.

"We detained one boy at his school and the rest from their homes in Kg Tagas here," he said, adding they have also recovered the mobile phone for further investigations.

Buruh rogol budak 12 tahun, dipenjara dengan enam sebatan.

MIRI: Seorang buruh dijatuhi hukuman penjara 13 tahun dan enam sebatan oleh Mahkamah Sesyen pagi semalam setelah mengaku bersalah terhadap enam tuduhan merogol seorang budak perempuan berusia 12 tahun.

Hukuman itu dijatuhkan Hakim Duncan Sikodol setelah menimbangkan beberapa aspek termasuk pengakuan salah dan rayuan tertuduh, keterangan fakta kes, berat kesalahan yang dilakukannya serta mengambil kira kepentingan awam.

Khamsarudi Mohd Husaini, 24, dari LKTS Bukit Peninjau, Skim Ladang Satu telah didakwa atas enam tuduhan merogol mengikut Seksyen 376 Kanun Keseksaan yang memperuntukan hukuman penjara tidak kurang dari lima tahun dan tidak melebihi 30 tahun serta boleh disebat tidak melebihi 10 kali, jika sabit kesalahan bagi setiap tuduhan dihadapi.

Berdasarkan keenam-enam tuduhan itu, tertuduh telah merogol mangsa yang berusia 12 tahun tiga bulan dan tujuh hari antara jam 4 petang hingga 4.30 petang pada 20 Februari lalu, antara jam 9 malam hingga 9.30 malam 20 Februari, antara 9 malam hingga 9.30 malam 21 Februari lalu, antara jam 3 pagi hingga 3.30 pagi 22 Februari, antara jam 9 malam hingga 9.30 malam 22 Februari dan antara jam 9.30 malam hingga 10 malam 24 Februari lalu.

Kesemua kesalahan itu didakwa dilakukan tertuduh di rumah pekerja kilang AT Dunia, Piasau Garden di sini.

Menurut keterangan kes, pada 26 Februari lalu, mangsa telah membuat laporan polis yang mendakwa telah dirogol tertuduh di rumah pekerja kilang AT Dunia, Piasau Garden di sini.
Hasil siasatan lanjut polis mendapati mangsa mula mengenali tertuduh sejak November 2008 melalui khidmat pesanan ringkas (sms) yang dihantar tertuduh kepadanya untuk berkenalan.

Kedua-dua mereka yang masing-masingnya menggunakan nama samaran mula menjalin hubungan kasih dan bercadang untuk berjumpa pada awal Februari lalu. Tertuduh meminta mangsa datang ke Miri bagi membolehkan mereka berjumpa.

Sebelum itu, tertuduh ada memberitahu nama sebenar serta umurnya kepada mangsa, namun mangsa masih menggunakan nama samaran dan mendakwa berusia 17 tahun.

Pada 20 Februari lalu, mangsa telah keluar rumah tanpa pengetahuan keluarganya di Bintulu dan kemudian menaiki bas ke Miri seorang diri untuk menemui tertuduh buat pertama kalinya. Dia kemudian tinggal bersama tertuduh sehingga 25 Februari lalu.

Bertindak atas maklumat yang diterima, pegawai penyiasat dari Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Bintulu telah menemui mangsa dan tertuduh di Bekenu.
Kedua-duanya telah ditahan dan dibawa ke Balai Polis Bekenu untuk disoal-siasat lanjut dan hasil siasatan mendapati mangsa telah dirogol tertuduh.

Dalam percakapan berhematnya yang dirakamkan polis, tertuduh mengaku telah melakukan hubungan seks dengan mangsa lebih daripada lima kali tanpa mengetahui mangsa masih berada di bawah umur.

Ketika rayuan, tertuduh memohon hukuman ringan sambil memberitahu kesalahan dilakukan bukan dengan niat. Tertuduh juga merayu hukuman dijalankan serentak.

Hakim Duncan Sikodol kemudian mengenakan hukuman penjara 13 tahun dan sekali sebatan bagi setiap tuduhan dihadapi namun memerintakan kesemua hukuman penjara itu berjalan serentak.

Deputy Minister shocked to see 11yr-old mothers .

PETALING JAYA: Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk T. Murugiah had a shock when he visited the Cameron Highlands Hospital maternity ward recently and found Orang Asli mothers as young as 11 and 12 years old.

He was also worried that these minors were unaware that they needed to register the births of their babies.

He said that these girls would soon return to their homes in remote villages and the babies would remain without birth certificates.

“This will pose a problem not only for the child and the parents but also the Government in later years,” he said.

Speaking to reporters after meeting the Putra Heights residents in Subang Jaya, near here, Murugiah said he would bring up the issue of non-registration with the National Registration Department to see if it could appoint a special officer to handle such cases.

He said similar cases existed in Sabah and Sarawak and solutions needed to be found to avoid problems later.

He said that the number of complaints received by the Public Complaints Bureau annually about children without birth certificates was high and it was quite a task to solve some of these cases. -- Bernama

Well, when I help Xanza to upload some games to his HDD, I launched Steam accidently and it shows that it cannot find the files (Well, I remove my Steam HDD to give space for Xanza's HDD).

When I inserted back my HDD, during boot out the disk checker said my HDD is corrupt and deleted everything inside.

Well, at least I learnt not to open Steam when the HDD is not connected. 60GB of downloads, HERE I COME !

TF2 Update Released ! ( No More Idle For Unlocks ! )

A new update for TF2 is released !

Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Added Sniper/Spy milestone achievements as an additional way players can get the new unlockables (YES !)
Added tf_arena_use_queue server convar. Turn this on to get the old queue behavior. Default is off
Added tf_arena_round_time to set a timelimit on the round
Added the userid of the player who built the teleporter to the "player_teleported" event
Fixed player killed event causing server crash
Fixed Spies not being telefragged when standing on an enemy teleporter exit with the Dead Ringer enabled
Fixed attackers seeing the mini-crit particle effect for full crits if the victim has the Jarate effect enabled
Fixed the Ambassador not doing damage to buildings
Fixed Spies disguised as their own team not drawing blood effects
Fixed players killed by flaming arrows not showing the appropriate death icon

I'm very happy with this update because it returned the milestones to get unlocks. Now we can no longer complaint about playing for 20 hours but not getting any stuffs. Good job Valve !

Starhub TF2 server gone ?

Starhub is planning to take down their Team Fortress 2 public servers "really soon", according to the server administrator in charge of the servers.

The server admin, who wishes only to be known as "Hammifer", told GameSync that keeping the servers up and running smoothly are taking up too much resources for something that does not generate any revenue for the company.

"The only thing for certain is that (the TF2 servers) will most likely go really soon if the current lag issue doesnt get fixed by this Wednesday," Hammifer said.

Recently, the Starhub servers have been plagued with lag and latency issues due to a combination of the latest Sniper/Spy update being buggy and network connectivity issues, especially between the Singnet and Starhub service providers. A source who works closely with Starhub told GameSync that the ISP is currently not interested in fixing the network issues.

Starhub currently operates eight Team Fortress 2 public servers that are popular all across Asia, with players from Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and India using the servers on a daily basis. Should the servers go down, the impact on the Asia-Pacific Team Fortress 2 community could be severe with little alternatives in place to meet demand.

Singapore-based players who experience latency issues while playing can try calling Starhub's customer service line at 1633 for help.

Chemist Exam - Day 9

Well, today's chemist paper wasn't too hard neither too easy. In paper 1 I managed to answer most of the questions ( Some are just random answers that turn out to be correct ). In paper 2, the questions were abit harder especially the essay question. I just write whatever I know in paper 2 and some turns up correct and some turn up wrong.

Well, what passed had passed. It's time to focus on tommorow's paper which is Physics 2 and EST 2. I wouldn't be too worry about EST 2 but who knows, the question could be hard. Anyways, for those who did not get the exam tips for Physics I have posted agian the summary on what coming out for Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3.

Well, I haven't get to play Killing Floor much due to exams. I can say that is this game is diffrent from L4D. This game have more adreneline and action compared to L4D (KF have more guns and mobs type and 6-Player Co-Op FTW !).

However, KF lack the quality of L4D have such as voice acting (OMG ! The Trader's voice sucks) , graphics and sound effects (Well,I can't complain much since L4D is made by a huge company while KF is made by a smaller one) .

This is a good thing too, it reduced the price (RM55 compared to L4D's RM128) and the system requirement is fairly low too because it's based on the UT2004 engine which means that friends with an old computer can join your zombie killing spree !

Conclusion, I give Killing Floor a rating of 7/10 !

Congratulation to Tripwire on making an affordable and entertaining Zombie Killing FPS !

We beat our own record again ! This time is at Death Toll with the time of 23 minutes ! I would like to thank all the members who participate in this speedrun ! I will make a video out of it when I have the free time. =)

TF2 new update issue found.

It's seams like the servers haven't fully been updated yet this morning, now I can join the servers normally now. =)

Well, I tried the new updates this morning and I got this message,

"server is enforcing consistency for this file: particles/water.dx80.pcf"

Well, this made me can't join any server for the time being, I check with the Steam forums and it seams that many people have the same issue.

I tried verify my game cache but it dosen't help to fix the issue.

There is only 2 possible reason for this:

Servers aren't updated.
The update messed up the files.

So, let's hope Valve can address this issue soon, I'll post a solution when I have the chance to find one.

New TF2 had been released this morning. Here is the Change log :

I'm personally feel that these deals are an important step to fight piracy. For example, you can get a pirated Bioshock at the price RM20. Why won't you top up another RM16 and upgrade your games to original. There are many benefits of going original, one of them is getting patches easily and no longer need to hunt for Cracks and NO-CD patch where 50% of them will end up as a virus file anyways. Besides that, you can get support for the issue that you encounted in your games, no one want to help a pirate. Lastly, you will help to support the developers.

Well, today is the day ! Spy VS Sniper Update is out ! Here is the change log !

Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Maps

* Added new map, Pipeline. Pipeline is the first map in a new game mode named payload race, which uses two carts in each map instead of only one like traditional payload maps * Added new arena map Sawmill

* Added new arena map Nucleus

* Added new community payload map Hoodoo

Sniper Changes

* Added new sniper rifle replacement, The Huntsman. Instead of a sniper rifle, you have a bow that allows you to move around faster while firing, and fire more quickly than the sniper rifle. Works better at medium range than the standard rifle

* Added new SMG replacement, Jarate. If thrown on an enemy they will take more damage for short period of time. Also extinguishes flames on yourself or allies

* Added new SMG replacement, The Razorback. Will protect you against a single spy backstab, and stun the spy for a short period of time. Comes with a 15% move speed penalty for the wearer

* Standard sniper rifle now shoots through friendly players * Added 54 new Sniper voice lines * Added 35 new Sniper achievements

Spy Changes

* Added new revolver replacement, The Ambassador. First shot is very accurate and will cause a critical hit if it hits an enemy's head. Accuracy is poor for a period after that .

* Added new watch replacement, the Dead Ringer. When armed, you will appear in all ways to die to the first damage you take from an enemy. You'll be cloaked for 8 second after taking this damage. Upon de-cloaking you'll make a loud, distinct sound Added new watch replacement, the Cloak and Dagger. Your cloak meter is only depleted when you move, so you can stay invisible indefinitely if you're standing still .

* Spy name tags now show up properly when disguised as their own team

* Fixed a bug that would cause spectators to see disguise weapons incorrectly

* Fixed a bug where enemy spies disguised as friendly spies would have cigarettes that didn't burn

* Fixed a bug where overhealing disguised spies would show the wrong overhealing amount to the medic

* Made it more obvious on first person view model when your motion cloak is out of juice and you are partially visible

* Also made it more obvious on first person view model when you're bumped while cloaked * Improved the way your disguise weapon is determined to make it clearer and fix a couple of rare issues

* Spies disguised as enemy spies now get a random mask to help complete the disguise, and their target id will be set appropriately

* Spies disguised as medics now have an Ubercharge: line in their disguise target info * Spies outward facing "disguise health" now matches their disguise target when they first apply the disguise

In conjuction with the Sniper and the Spy update, Valve have given us to play TF2 for FREE for this weekend ! Whoever haven't tried this game should take this opportunity to try out this game. Who knows, who may like this game and buy it.=)

I Highly recomended this game because it's a fun team-based FPS game. It have 9 clases to be played as such as Sniper, Spy , Soldier, Scout, Medic, Heavy, Pyro, Engineer and Demoman. Besides that, Valve also support this game very well by giving us free updates such as weapon unlockables and new maps. For example, Valve have released the Medic, Pyro, Heavy and the scout updates and a few new maps such as Badlands and Goldrush in the past few months.

I hope that you give TF2 a try over this weekend and buy it if you love it. =)
