Another Day At Work ( Today)

Today's work is quite boring as the people was less because of the rain outside. Speaking of the rain, the condition here is very COLD and FREEZING as there is 3 air conditioners blowing at full speed towards me plus the heavy rain outside.

Logitech Momo -- A Value Wheel.

I've just bought a Logitech Momo recently to ditch my Xbox 360 Controller for use in Racing game. I've intented to buy the more High-End Logitech G25 but gave up the plan due to the need for a new procceser.

However, the Momo is still a decent wheel for beginners in Racing Wheels. The force feedback of this wheel is average when compared to the G25. Don't get me wrong, the MOMO force feedback is still good for it's price level (G25 cost around a whopping RM880 ).

The nice thing about the shifters is that it can be placed on the left or the right sides of the wheel. It is just simply unscrewing the nuts underneath the shifters and transfer it to the other side.

The pedals have some realism on it, not so great but at least the brake pedals is harder to press then the gas pedals.

I've tried the wheel with GRID and Dirt 2 and they give me a better feeling compared to a controller as I can feel every bump and crash with my hands. For example, when going off road in GRID, the wheel rumbles non-stop and the wheel is harder to control.

Overall, Logitech MOMO is a great for value wheel for just RM250. I've posted more pictures of the wheel below.

Another Day At Work (Yesterday).

Well, Yesterday's work was kinda exciting because Battle of the Bands event was held not far from where I was working. I managed to listen to a band perform a song during my break ( Forgot Band Name =( , Was the 1st to perform). It was rocking as the sound and crowd was exciting and loud.


Don't forget about the cool Christmas Tree made out of bear bottles =D

9th Day Working at Sunway.

It's wasen't too tiring today as there is less people today. You should see the number of people on weekends, non-stop horde of peoples buying ticktes.

As for today, I'm quite confused at first on using the credit card machine as it's just being implemented today but I've managed to understand the machine after given some explainations.

Well, let me show you my workplace for this job.


As you see, I managed to install Steam in my workstation.............just hope it's last that way.

For today, I have some puffs for dinner at Jusco Sunway Piramid. Well, it is priced reasonably at RM1 each for the Sardin and Ikan Bilis puffs and RM2 for the Chicken puff. For today I have one of each of the puffs above with a total cost of RM4.

Enabling a disabled Task Manager.

If you ever wonder why when you use most cyber cafes or your own PC and when you try to open Task Manager, the following error may occur:

Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator

This is usually cause by the admin or maybe a virus/infection has blocked the usage of Task Manager in your system by enabling the DisableTaskMgr policy via the registry.
This can be easily solve by clicking Start, Run and type this command exactly as given below:

REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v
DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

This is very usefull if a virus had disabled your Task Manager or to play for free at Cyber Cafes
by disabling their timer ( Depends on the system software; may not work on all systems.).

However this dosen't remove the virus that causes the problem. A full system scan is still required to remove whatever is causing it.

Working At Dolphins & Sealion Show at Sunway Piramid Open Carpark.

Well, I finally found a time to update my blog. Currently I'm working as a ticket seller at the Dolphins and Sealion show beside Sunway Piramid.

Well, if anyone want to buy tickets for the event here is the pricing.

Regular Adult : RM52
Regular Child : RM32
MyKad Adult : RM42
MyKad Child : RM26
Shoppers Adult : Rm37
Shoppers Child : RM23
Family : RM30

It's a bit confusing I know, let me explain the pricing :

1) Regulars pricing is for individuals which dosen't have MyKad or Malaysian Identity Card.

2) MyKad pricing is for individuals which have MyKad or Malaysian Identity Card.

3) Shoppers pricing is for individuals which have a Shopper's Coupon Card. You can obtain the
card by spending more then RM250 at Sunway Piramid except Giant, Parkson and Jusco

4) Family pricing is a package which consist of 2 Adults and 2 Child. So the total of the package is
RM120.

The time of the show is as follows :

1) Weekdays : 3:30 PM , 6:30PM , 9:30 PM
2) Weekends and Public Holiday : 11:30AM, 3:30PM, 6:30PM, 9:30PM

Each show last an average of 45 minutes. If you want to take a photo upclose with the dolphins, it will cost RM10. However, you can bring you own camera to the show but you are not allowed to be upclose with the dolphins and use flash from your camera.

There is a boat ride with the dolphins for the kids for RM20 including a photo taken during the ride.
